She started praying for her husband when they were still engaged. She kept praying after they were married. He worked too much, drank too much. She kept praying.
They had a baby, but he was
never home. She kept praying. Then he
lost everything, or he thought that it was everything. He lost his job and with it a lot of money
and a good reputation.
He was devastated, he kept
drinking. She kept praying. They went
through dark days. She kept praying.
Then he realised that he
actually had everything, but could not see it through the eyes of the
world. He had God, his family, peace and
a praying wife. He was healed, his
marriage was healed.
Then his son got cancer and
they could not pay for medical bills. She kept praying and he joined her. The bills got paid through loving efforts
from friends.
He started a new job, his
son is still fighting the cancer and she is still praying.
I heard peace that is above
any understanding, and thankfulness in their voices, I saw the Anchor of their
souls in their eyes.
Their testimony and journey
will motivate and move others not only to start praying, but to keep praying.
