Thank you Jesus for saving me
You gave me a measurement of faith
Through all the mistakes and sin you stayed with me
But my shame and guilt also stayed, paralyzing me
I performed dead works
How very cold was the water when I was baptized
How very different it was to just obey your Word !
How effortless to lay down my old self in the water................
I was saved, but now I feel safe
Fear was replaced with
the perfect love of Jesus,
the nuclear power of the Father and
a sound mind guided by the Holy Spirit
